Safe Havens for YouthTM is a community building initiative that provides safe after-school and summer havens for youth, their families, and the community.

The Lake County 4-H Program is open to youth currently enrolled in grades 2 through 12.
4-H members choose projects that interest them. You attend meetings, participate in new learning experiences, and may be involved in making presentations and community services projects.

We serve all Lake County children regardless of race or color, that may benefit from responsible adult companionship, guidance and understanding. We offer basic one-to-one friendship matches. We hold monthly group activities for all children in the program, such as Christmas party, fishiing tournament, water slides, Yogi Bear camp, teen boys sailing camp and teen girls retreats.

Girl Scouting works, and we can prove it. Girls actively involved in Girl Scouting develop more self-reliance, self-competence, feelings of belonging, and a greater respect for others than girls not in Girl Scouts.
